What I have learned

Well, you can take my opinion with a pinch of salt and I'm pretty sure that most of you will, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone present. I learned that not only is Norse mythology on the weird side, but the other ones are as well. Who knew so much debauchery, back-stabbing, deceit, trickery, paranoia, and all around craziness could be stuck into one historical event. I mean honestly: A volcano exploded and therefore...... (fill in the blank).
To be honest, I love mythology and view it as fairy tales. I was very excited to have gone through this experience and learn so much.
I find that a lot of things I knew, but several things I didn't know. For one, I learned that Chinese mythology has a book that is an hundred chapters long. I also learned that there are several different beginnings to Native American mythology. There was the interesting tidbit of Dionysus being born from Zeus's leg along with the very disturbing tidbit of Set cutting up Osiris.
I hope that you all enjoyed this as much as I did. :) This is Loki/ Alicia signing off of this blog for probably the rest of my existence. *salutes*
