Cultural References

In regard to places Midgardians use me culturally the biggest I can probably think of is the MARVEL comic book character. He actually reflects quite well, even if he is just a mortal.
Oh, Come on. Everyone knows they come to see me. :)

I am not as popular as I was in the old myths, but hey, I found a restaurant with my name on it! It is a little cafe located in Reykjavik, Iceland that supposedly has very good cuisine. Perhaps one day I'll have to make a surprise visit. What do you think? Hehehe....
Alright, well, I'm sad to say that this is the only reference I could find for modern days is, don't mock me for saying it at all, a lot of.... well, a lot of.... pets are named after me. Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, llamas, lizards, ferrets, hedgehogs- I even found a monkey named Loki. Perhaps it is a good pet name, but if that is the case, why am I originally a human? I will  admit that naming a horse Loki is understandable, however. That's an entirely different story that I don't think will ever again grace these nine realms. At least, it won't be spread by me

  1. Hi Loki :) I was just wondering if you thought that Marvel did a good job depicting you or not.

  2. Actually, believe it or not, I do think that they did quite a fantastic job. I myself have watched these MARVEL movies and think they are done well. However, they are mortal, and do have several points wrong.

  3. If there was one major part Marvel got wrong about Loki, what is it?
